How long does a new driveway take?
A standard two car drive is usually three to five days from breaking out to finishing, depending on the surface and how much digging is involved.
Do I need planning permission?
Not for a permeable surface such as gravel or block paving laid to drain properly. Solid surfaces over five square metres that drain to the road can need permission, and we will flag it if that applies.
Is sealing worth it?
On block paving it helps hold the sand in the joints and slows weeds and staining down. It needs redoing every few years and the paving must be completely dry first.
Can you match existing blocks?
Usually. Bring us the name if you have it, otherwise we will take a photo to the merchant and get as close as the range allows.
